When I was younger, I fell in love with drawing and was so happy to have found my passion. I knew God had given me a gift, and I wanted to find a way to incorporate that in my career.

As I grew up, the idea of being an artist as a living became less and less realistic, and I gave up on that dream and slowly fell away from spending time doing what I loved.

Fast forward to this year, I began to realize that life is too short to be working a job and pouring hours into something I don't love and am not passionate about. I knew deep down I was meant for more, and I had forgotten about my younger self's goals to pursue a calling that represented both Him and myself.

I had seen videos of live artists showcasing their work and started to think that maybe one day I could do that...
On a whim, I posted a video on TikTok asking if there was anyone in SoCal that had a wedding coming up and would be willing to trust me to paint/draw at their wedding.

The next day, I woke up to over a thousand comments and DMs of people wanting to support this journey of mine, of pursuing my passions and ditching the 9-5.

I feel beyond blessed to now have the opportunity to chase this dream. This path is still new, but I’m stepping out in faith, ready to honor God, my younger self, and the gifts He’s given me through Adorned Arts.
